So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Finding the right users
After deciding the number of users, you need to select your users. You can use an external recruitment company or your existing users, but the easiest, most convenient, and often the best solution is to use the tester panel of your remote testing provider. Most big platforms, such as WhatUsersDo.com or UserTesting.com, have panels with thousands of users, essentially guaranteeing that you will quickly find 10,20, or 40 users matching your criteria. If you are using a small start-up as a testing solution, or your own remote-testing hack with a communication tool, such as Skype, then jump to the private panel section of this chapter.
