When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Step 3 - solve the root issues
Now comes the fun part. The main reason for creating the issue trees was to identify the root issues. First, we will focus on the root issue with the highest importance and try to find an actionable solution, within our limits. Then, we try to extend the solutions, so it solves as many, ideally all root issues. When found, add a box, with a different color and point arrows to it, starting from the root issues to the solution fixes.
Add a legend with the different colors/box styles to your solution map. This will help people who are new to solution mapping. Experienced solution mappers will guess what's what without a legend from the placement of the items.
