Closed card method steps

  1. Write the items and groups on cards or sticky notes: Write the items and groups on cards, pieces of paper, or sticky notes. Use a different color for the group names as they will be used to classify the other cards.
  2. Organize the cards into groups: The participants are asked to organize the elements into groups. Each of the groups will be headed by one of the different color cards, those that correspond to group names.
