Galleries with miniatures
Image galleries are a very useful design component for displaying listings of items in a graphical way. They are used both in applications and the mobile system itself and therefore cause the user to expect component behaviors from their previous learning.
Items shown as thumbnails should be interactive. If your gallery shows the images in a small size that does not allow you to see the details comfortably, the user will probably understand that interacting with the object will show a zoom of the image.
