was 26%. Polite DGs received slightly higher compliance rates, but
not of statistical signicance. As Figure4.5 (right) illustrates, there
were no signicant eects on total reaction time. However, responses
to rude DGs had higher accuracy rates (p = 0.29) though, again, this
did not reach statistical signicance (see Figure4.5 [center]).
Figure4.6 (left) shows that when there were two simultaneous
requests, one from a high powered DG and one of equal power to
the subject, subjects took a signicantly more time to decide which
DG to select, regardle ...
