11.4.3 Neural Systems Involved in the Processing of Emotion
In this section, we will discuss emotions, the parts of the brain and
body that process emotions, and the way in which emotions exhibit
themselves as measurable indicators of arousal in the brain and body,
for example galvanic skin response (sweating). It may be possible to
use such indicators to measure emotional responses; however, the
connection between emotions and measurable responses is a complex
one that is still incompletely understood.
