the brain activation patterns observed depend upon the nature of the
stimulus, the task that participants has to perform, and perhaps their
strategy. Even distinguishing one emotion versus another is not a
simple feat.
Before neuroergonomic measures can be used to provide eective
guidance to etiquette-sensitive automated systems, we need to better
understand the relationship between these variables in human com-
munication paradigms.
