Installing DevStack
Since we have had a brief brush with how to design an OpenStack environment, let's install DevStack. The DevStack script (for lack of a better word) was intended for developers to create a personal OpenStack environment with the projects that they needed. While DevStack can have a multiple node installations (distributed), we will simply concentrate on a single node.
It has a single configuration file, which can be modified in order to tell it which projects to install and the configurations of them. All you need is a single Linux server that is supported - RHEL and Ubuntu. Please remember, all the projects that are going to be installed on the same server so we will need a beefier machine.
