So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Basics of designing an OpenStack environment
Truth be told, DevStack can be installed with a single command for most instances of DevStack that are normally run on developers' machines, so there is no need to design it. However, when deploying OpenStack to a production environment, one definitely needs to take a look at the design of it.
OpenStack, since its inception in 2010, has moved on from being a simple cloud orchestration layer to a full-fledged cloud operating system. This is the only one on the market with such abilities, and the support from the community has become quite an untameable system, which quickly becomes a double-edged sword depending on how it is designed and deployed.
