I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
High availability and application upgrades
The federation allows for high availability of applications, as the controllers (Replication Controllers and Deployment Controllers) can bring a complete application up in event of a failure in a cloud. This allows us to be immune to any unavoidable outages of the cloud providers.
This also allows us to upgrade the applications (Canary Upgrades), which is a feature of Kubernetes, and apply it over multiple public cloud providers.
