I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Adding a new AWS EC2 provider
Perform the following steps:
- Go to Compute | Clouds | Provider.
- Click on Add a new Cloud Provider.
- Type in a Name (this is only for the tool and should make sense to you).
- Choose the Type as Amazon EC2.
- Choose the Region.
- Enter the Access Key and Secret Key.
- Click on Validate.
Now for the most important question, where do we get the access key and secret key from? If you remember, we created a user in the AWS console and we chose to give a user API access. You will find that it generates the access key and a secret key.
