It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Building a Traditional CMP-Based Hybrid Cloud
In the previous chapters, we learned the different meanings that one could attach to the hybrid cloud, and also the different use cases and designs that can be done for each of them. Now, having followed the last chapter, we should have a VPC created in AWS and also our DevStack ready and raring to go.
In this chapter, we will see how we can build a hybrid cloud that is created for the Supporting Applications Use Case and also the Isolated/Distributed Use Case (as discussed in Chapter 2, Hybrid Cloud – Why Does It Matter?) with the help of a Cloud Management Platform (CMP).
The CMP that we will be using here is ManageIQ, however, we could use other orchestrators in the market ranging from COTS ...
