Templatize
The final piece of the puzzle is deploying the software that has been written on the environment, but as you may have already guessed, this was possible using the configuration management system itself.
Then why are we still talking about it? We just want to introduce a few new tools that can help us templatize so that we can simply deploy the template in the environment and this makes the process repeatable. (So that we don't have to deploy from the source each time.)
The first one in this list is a tool from HashiCorp called Packer. This tool allows us to create customized virtual machine templates on a variety of clouds, and it allows customization using a variety of configuration management software.
