So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Installing ManageIQ
The full range of installation options can be found in the ManageIQ documentation located at: http://manageiq.org/docs/get-started/. However, we are going to see a sample installation to see the concepts of the Hybrid Cloud in order.
We will be running a single instance of ManageIQ as a container in a Docker environment. In order to install Docker on any Linux machine, we follow the instructions in the next section. We can do this on any Linux machine even a virtual machine on the AWS (or any other) public cloud itself. However, in our case, we will be installing it on our management server.
Please remember that since ManageIQ is a CMP, it will need API access (over HTTP(s)) to the clouds that we intend to manage with ...
