DevOps or NoOps
Now that we know about the IaaC and the configuration management systems, the next order of business is naturally to see how the enterprises are gearing up toward using these. The enterprises are in essence trying to make the operations team redundant and pass the full responsibility on to the development team, we call this NoOps.
But since that is too far a jump for one to make, the industry decided to make an interim jump, where there will be a common team that will have representation from the development team and the operations teams, but the operations teams have a mandate to use automation/coding in order to create and deliver the configuration; this is called DevOps.
