When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Creating the infrastructure
Since the introduction of virtualization, the infrastructure is becoming more software defined and thereby helping our cause; however, still some product-centric features seep in.
In order to bridge the gap, the service down philosophy was formed. The philosophy not only treated the infrastructure as fungible, which can be replaced with anything equivalent, but also broke the infrastructure down as simplified lego-blocks, which can be provisioned using API calls and can be used interchangeably.
This way, the developers don't have to bother with the nuances of each of the products and the service down platform will take care of them. Now, developers could request their own infrastructure without being bothered ...
