Step 1 – setting up the federation controller 

This is similar to how we set the other controllers. In this case, we will bootstrap it on to the local LxD controller. However, you can bootstrap it on to another region in the AWS. Optionally, a new model can be added to the existing controller. In our case, we will do the same rather than creating a new controller. 

A Juju controller can host multiple models for different types of workloads. Say for instance, we have to deploy four different instances of MySQL, we will need four different models for it, as a single charm can only be deployed once per model per controller. 

We will use the juju add-model command to create a new model in the exiting controller.
