I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
AWS account design
While a single account is more than sufficient technically, there are reasons why you might want to have several accounts. An account is a level which has limits applied, so people choose to have the following:
- Different accounts for different business units
Helps in separation of usage and billing details
- Different accounts for production and non-production environments
You may consider this, not only for the separation of usage and billing information, but also for the fact that testing may inadvertently overload a server. The non-production account may face a temporary ban, and if the production servers are on the same account, these servers may face an outage.
