I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Merging the different teams
We have seen the process and the problems in the previous sections, so what can be the theoretically straightforward solution? Merge both the teams!
However, the skills of the teams are fairly varied. For example, a development team is more focused on a language in which they are developing the software (for example, C#, Python, Java, and so on) and their expertise lies in this domain.
The operations team on the other hand are concerned with products and since they support multiple development teams, their expertise is on several platforms and products, most times from various vendors, as an example, operating systems such as Linux, Windows, and Unix; web servers such as Apache and IIS; database servers such ...
