There is a big difference between the virtual world and the physical world. Look around you. You probably have some items around you that you can touch; go ahead and touch them. You will feel the object and notice that it resists while pushing it a bit or that it moves when you push it. The object will react to what you do. This is nothing new, the laws of physics that describe this have been known for centuries. Push against something, and you will at least feel it and will probably result in action.
How different this is in a virtual world. When you click on something that is on your screen, by means of your mouse, nothing will physically happen. All interactions are done by the software, letting you know that you pressed the button. ...
