Logging Out of GNOME
To log out of GNOME, click the icon of a monitor with a moon in it on the Panel. By default, this will return you to the gdm login dialog box. Currently, GNOME has very limited session management, mostly because of a lack of application support. As with most things in GNOME, this should improve as more applications integrate GNOME features.
