I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
COMBINING COACHING AND STAFF TRAINING
School administrators in the United States have been slower than business organizations to embrace coaching. Coaching has been introduced as a way of supporting the implementation and sustainability of best practices, so coaches are often in a hybrid role. For example, after teachers have attended a workshop on current practice, coaches will typically work with teams and individuals, modeling lessons, observing classroom instruction, and helping teachers incorporate district standards and assessments into their teaching.
