I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Performance data logs
To create data logs in Windows Server 2016, complete the following steps:
- With Performance Monitor open, expand Data Collector Sets and select User Defined.
- Right-click User Defined and select New|Data Collector Set.
- Enter the name for your Data Collector Set.
- Choose the Create manually (Advanced) option and click Next.
- Choose the Create data logs option and the Performance counter sub-option, and then click Next.
- Click the Add button to add counters, as in Figure 9.16, specify the time interval, and then click Next:
