I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Configuring Hyper-V settings
Now that you have added the Hyper-V role to your server, it is recommended that you spend a little time setting up the Hyper-V settings. To set up Hyper-V settings, open Hyper-V Manager and then click Hyper-V Settings... in the Actions pane. Among the settings (see Figure 6.5) that you can set up are the following:
- Virtual Hard Disks: This specifies the location on your server to store virtual hard disk files
- Virtual Machines: This specifies the location on your server to store virtual machine configuration files
- Physical GPUs: This specifies the Graphical Processing Unit (GPU) to be used by virtual machines
