I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Computer policies (3.4.3)
As explained in the Group policy processing section, GPOs assigned to computer accounts are applied when computers are turned on. So, computer configuration policies are bound to computers regardless of the user that is logged on to the computer. This applies both to computers in the domain and to non-domain computers. To set up GPOs for computer accounts, complete the following steps:
- Open Group Policy Management.
- Right-click your domain and select Create a GPO in this domain and Link it here...
- In the New GPO window, enter the name for the new GPO, and click OK.
- Right-click the newly created GPO and select Edit.
