Operations master roles (3.3.3)
AD DS is complex! However, as soon as you start deploying it, everything becomes clearer. Let's look at the operations master role this way. Earlier in the Domain section, we created the root domain PacktBiz.local that actually represents the domain controller in our forest. In that domain controller, AD DS automatically assigns five master operations roles. The first two, master schema and domain naming master, are ForestWide operations master roles. While the remaining three, relative identifier (RID), primary domain controller (PDC) emulator, and infrastructure master are DomainWide operations master roles.
