I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Advantages and Disadvantages of different storage types (4.1.1)
Storage technologies are numerous, as there are numerous opportunities too. As such they offer many advantages and disadvantages at the same time. So let us look at some of these devices:
- Optical discs: They offer large capacities and read-and-write accepted speeds. However, they continue to play the role of data backup media.
- HDDs: They offer large capacities and high read-and-write speeds. Continue to maintain number one spot in secondary storage category.
- SSDs: With their growing capacities and extraordinary read-and-write speeds are becoming a convincing storage technology. Time will tell if they will take the first spot from HDDs.
