So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
User profiles (3.1.3)
Usually, in Windows Server-based networks, the following user profiles are used:
- Local user profile: It is created when the user logs on to a computer for the first time and is stored on a local computer (see Figure 4.25)
- Roaming user profile: It is a local profile copied and stored to a network share
- Mandatory user profile: It is a kind of roaming profile where a user logs off and no changes in a profile are saved
