I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Default logs (6.4.9)
The problem with Event Logs is that they consume storage space. Thus, to overcome this issue, you have the option of changing the default logs location. That way, you will be able to increase storage space by relocating the default logs location and avoid the issue of not being able to write event messages to any of the log files due to lack of storage space. To relocate the default logs location in Windows Server 2016, complete the following steps:
- Press Windows key + R, enter regedit, and press Enter.
- Locate the following path: HKEY_LOCAL_ MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\EventLog\System.
