Using the color wheel to understand the meaning of colors

When it comes to combining different colors, it is hard sometimes to find a match to make our visual design stand out.

For example, we ask questions such as why the blue and yellow combination is good but orange and yellow doesn't work, or why the green and orange combination is better than green and yellow. Well, this has everything to do with color theory, which we explained in the preceding section, and the best way to understand this combination is by understanding the color wheel and how it works.

The color wheel will help us to create color palettes, which will contain mixed colors based on contrasting degrees.
