Preparing for the interview session

This is the step where we take actions before we perform the interview. We define a clear goal and what we want to get out of people during the interview with them.

When we start conducting an individual interview, we will need to consider the following things:

• We need to have a clear goal and idea as to what we want to get from those individuals.
• We write the interview protocol, which the interviewer will follow. The protocol itself includes different questions and tasks for the interviewer to follow up with.
• We need to have a skilled interviewer, who knows how to deal with interviewees, makes them feel more comfortable, and asks questions in a neutral manner. This type of person usually listens well ...
