Similar to wireframes, when it comes to creating prototypes, we first need to create a plan for it. The plan should be clear as to what will be included inside our prototype – what kinds of screens can be used, what they contain, the flow between the screens, and the relationship among those screens.
We can create the plan using just a pen and paper, or we can use tools that will allow us to create the diagram, workflows, or mind-mapping. Many of these tools are available online, including Lucidchart, Xmind, draw.io (draw.io), and FreeMind, which are worth checking out.
As long as you are able to understand the steps that you described using those tools and the other team members are able to understand them, you are good to go.
