Hierarchy

When we do the visual design for a product, usually, we will have a lot of different elements included in the design, and we need to be sure to show more important areas better on the design and give them a better visibility so that the users of the product can receive the message correctly. The best way to do this is by following the hierarchy principle.

Using hierarchy, we can accomplish good design in different ways, for example, using the proper colors on specific areas that we want to draw the user's attention to, or by making headlines or text bolder when it's something important, or even by placing important elements higher in the design content and putting the less important ones underneath.
