Using the Figure-Ground law, we can differentiate between an object or element based on its surrounding form or area, where its shape is naturally perceived as an object or figure while the surrounding area is read or seen as a background.
If we balance the object and background, we can perceive a clear image. Using the figure/ground relationship, we can create a clear view of the image and add interest to it.
