Summary

In this chapter you learned about the need for a solid project start and how important it is to lay down the foundation for success early on. The key ingredients to be successful includes forming the right team composition, laying down the ground rules (for behavioral aspects), and outlining the goals in the project charter. 

The key deliverable (and a living document) is a project plan, which must always be kept in sync with the latest activities, using the baselining approach, to predict the future set of activities and milestones.
