Adding new or existing element in the project

To add a new element to project, right click on the Project and click Add and then select New item.... This will open Dynamics 365 items from the template as shown in the following sceenshot:

You can select the type of object you want to add, enter name of the object and then click Add button to add element to project.

To add an existing element, you can search the element in the application explorer and then click Add to project or drag and drop the element to project (element must belong to same model as project), or click customize (when you customization using overlarying and project model ...
