Managing the data
Evaluate the data in terms of quality and volume. Clean the data in the source system if possible. Consider purging or archiving the source data from the production dynamics AX environment to minimize the data upgrade time of the production environment. This would help reduce the time needed for each data upgrade iteration and the downtime needed for performing a production upgrade apart from improving the data quality in the next version.
