Connection sets

Once you create the connection sets in the CDS, the next step is to create a connection set. Connection sets are a collection of two more connections and organization mapping information that can be reused among projects. Connection sets are also artifacts where you select environment. You may create separate connection sets for development environment and production environment and use them accordingly on your project.

Other key information connection sets store is organization unit mapping. These are mappings between the Finance and Operations legal entity (or company) and the Common Data Service organizations and sales organization or business units.
