Production environment and responsibilities 

Before diving deep into the Go Live planning and related activities, it is important to understand the production environment. Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, Enterprise edition offers three distinct deployment options: cloud, local business data (on-premises), and Cloud and Edge (hybrid). All the deployment options use the same application code base and tooling; However, the process, roles, and responsibilities of managing these production environments are different. In this section, we will walk through the difference in processes and understand the roles and responsibitlites to manage the production infrastructure and deployments.
