The Cloud and Edge deployment model starts with the cloud components deployed on Azure to provide enterprise-level functionalities, such as complete enterprise view, business intelligence, and disaster recovery. In addition to cloud deployment, some operations such as retail and manufacturing can be deployed on the customer's infrastructure for business continuity or for integration with the local systems.
