Planning and code migration

When planning to migrate from Dynamics AX 2009, all the upgrade/migration planning activities described in the earlier section are relevant and needs to be evaluated. Many new functionalities have been added to the product since AX 2009, so special focus needs to be given to customization analysis and fit gap to evaluate what customizations can be deprecated and replaced with existing out-of-the-box features. It is also important to identify a new feature that can be utilized after moving to the new platform.
