Developing data upgrade script for custom schema changes
If you have done upgrade project in the earlier Dynamics AX version, for example, AX 4.0 to AX 2009 or AX 2009 to AX 2012, you might already be familiar with data upgrade scripts. Data upgrade scripts (Release update X++ classes) are similar in Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations.
