I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
The importance of communication
Communication is a crucial part of the Go Live planning. Following is one of the references I would like to provide on why communication is so important when avoiding turning smaller issues into bigger challenges.
In one of the upgrade projects, we had a very small downtime window to perform the upgrade. It was shortened further, as updates in the data warehouse were going to take time, and we had to keep aside some time for rollback as well. However, with multiple iterations (thanks to the great technical team that was on the project), we were able to squeeze time to meet our requirements.
