It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Common pitfalls
Consider the following to avoid the common pitfalls during ISV selection:
- You don't want to involve too many ISV solutions as part of the overall solution. It will increase the dependencies for upgrades and take away time from your core implementation team in managing conflicts and testing.
- Each ISV solution being envisioned in the overall solution design should have a minimum or no overlayering.
