Application explorer
Application explorer is main entry point to browse and interact with the elements in the model store that define the applications. If you are familiar with previous version Dynamics AX 2012, Application Explorer corresponds to the AOT. To open the application explorer, in Finance and Operations Developer VMs, in Visual Studio click on the View menu and then click Application Explorer. Application Explorer is used to view elements, view code, find references to a selected element, and add elements to a project. To create, design, edit, and build model elements, you must use a project.
