125 – You Could Do this Job in Your Sleep
Purpose/Objectives: This exercise helps managers and supervisors identify
motivational factors that contribute to good on-the-job
training for new employees, thus gaining work-related
knowledge to successfully perform their jobs. Partici-
pants are asked to identify positive/negative aspects of
on-the-job-training by analyzing a case study. Managers
and supervisors will quickly learn how effective their
training has been by the employee’s attitude and moti-
vation. There are four case studies to choose from to fit
your particular audience—engineering, manufacturing,
administrative, and finance.
