H.324 defines the operations of terminals for low bit-rate multimedia communication using V.34/V.34+ modems operating over the telephone network. H.324 terminals can carry real-time voice, data, and video, or any combination, including video-telephony.
The H.324 suite consists of five recommendations: H.324, H.223, H.245, H.263, and G.723.1. H.261 Video Compression and T.120 operations are also included. Table 9-2 summarizes these Recommendations.
