I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Always-free tier
As with many products and services in the GCP catalog, Compute Engine offers an always- free tier. The free tier includes enough instance-hours per month to run a single f1-micro instance continuously for the entire month. These instance-hours may be spread across multiple f1-micro instances, as we did in the managed instance group example. These instance-hours are not applicable to instances running outside of North America, and cannot be used in North Virginia.
In addition to f1-micro instance-hours, the Compute Engine free tier includes up to 30 GB of persistent disk storage each month and up to 5 GB of snapshots. Together, these provide enough resources to explore much of what Compute Engine has to offer without incurring ...
