Updating deployments
One of the biggest advantages to using public clouds is that teams can quickly change a project's underlying infrastructure as needed. A major benefit of configuration management tools is to predictably and reliably manage such changes, and Cloud Deployment Manager is no exception.
Changes to existing deployments are performed by modifying the configurations and passing them to Cloud Deployment Manager using the gcloud deployment-manager update command. In order to minimize a change's unanticipated consequences, Cloud Deployment Manager supports the notion of previews.
