Because one of the primary differences between storage classes is price, it's important to understand how pricing works in GCS in order to make informed decisions about which storage class is best for a given use case. There are a few components to how price is calculated for Cloud Storage, including the amount of data being stored, the cost of various operations, and network charges.
General storage costs are straightforward, with cost being a function of usage in terms of GB of data per month.
